Helicopters to Whistler

Undoubtedly the fastest way to travel to and from Whistler is via helicopter. Take in the breathtaking scenery from the air from Vancouver to Whistler. Everybody should be so lucky to travel this way.

Blackcomb Helicopters

Following are the 2008-09 winter rates for helicopter transportation one way, to OR from Whistler Village and Whistler Heilport to Vancouver International Airport (South Terminal). Twin engine aircraft available on request.

  • Eurocopter Helicopter (maximum 5 passengers): $2,699

Costing is for a one way transfer and includes landing fee for YVR South Terminal.

A 5% GST and additional fuel surcharge will apply to all charter/transfer rates.
Rate does not include transportation to/from designated landing area at Vancouver International Airport (South Terminal) to the main terminal, approximately 10 minutes by taxi or limousine.

For Vancouver Harbour arrivals/departures please add $65.00 to the charter flight cost.

Luggage Restrictions:

  • Due to limited cargo space, passengers are permitted to carry one (1) piece of surface luggage per person. Additional luggage needs to be transported via ground.
  • Should flight seats not be filled to capacity, additional luggage space may be available.
  • All of our helicopters have an external basket to carry ski and golf equipment.

Helijet Charters

The fleet offers a complete range of capabilities from the two-seat Robinson R-22, four-passenger Bell Jetranger, the 12-passenger Sikorsky S76, through to the 23-passenger Sikorsky S61.

One Way Transfer Prices for Vancouver Airport - Whistler / Whistler - Vancouver Airport are as follows;

  • Bell Jetranger - 5 Passenger - $3,135
  • Sikorsky S-76 - 12 passenger - $4,865

An additional fuel surcharge and 5% GST will apply to all charter/transfer rates.

Luggage space is limited. If each passenger has luggage, then most of it will be transported by ground at additional cost of approximately $250.
